Fuel pump is accessed through a hole below the back seat. Remove the seat and there is a rubber round cover over each fuel pump. On a recent 300 mile journey, whilst towing a caravan, the car began cutting out over the last 50 miles and was smoking but not badly. The MIL and Glowplug lights flash on momentarily

Problem sorted for now at least, air was being sucked in via the magnetic filter body had been rubbing against engine bracket and worn a microscopic pinhole allowing air into system, once identified and changed system bled and new filter fitted all A OK hope it stays like that .
